Liza’s Lifeline Hosts Golf Tournament to Support Domestic Violence Victims

Liza’s Lifeline of South Carolina Inc., a Charleston-based nonprofit organization, will be hosting their 2nd annual Golf Tournament at Shadowmoss Plantation Golf Club in West Ashley, SC, on September 18, 2010. The event is in memory of Liza Ellen Warner, 29, who was tragically murdered by her husband in 2004

The goal is to increase awareness of domestic violence and raise money to directly help victims who are in a crisis situation. This is a four-person Captain’s Choice tournament. Check-in starts at 11 a.m. with a shotgun start at 1 p.m. Registration fee is $65 per person and includes beverages on the course as well as food, drinks and prizes awarded after the tournament.

For more information and to register, contact Doug Warner at lizaslifeline@knology.net.
